This video, in ultra high resolution, reflects the climate movement that our planet had throughout the past year and the result of the work of four organizations that combined their data and satellite images: EUMETSAT, the Meteorological Administration of China, the Meteorological Agency of Japan and the United States Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) was the main organization responsible for condensing each image in this video that we can now admire.
EUMETSAT is an international organization, founded in 1986, and is dedicated to monitoring the weather and climate from space, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
An 8K video showing the climate of our planet
Throughout nine minutes and fifty seconds, in this timelapse ultra high resolution (8K), distinguishes the formation of natural phenomena such as cloud cover, cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes.
The constant movement of the Earth is also appreciated, with a luminosity in reddish tones that can be seen in the territories of the Middle East or North Africa.
This animation shows the different weather patterns, around the world in 2020, captured from space, with large storms labeled yellow to red, depending on their intensity. The most active basin of the year was the North Atlantic, with 30 named storms.
We can also see how winter covers large portions of the earth with snow and ice, and how as spring comes in everything turns green.
