Like Instagram, the short video platform is developing its own Stories called TikTok Quick
with the pandemic TikTok became the most popular application, however the platform continues to improve its service to offer better tools to its users.
Last year it was revealed that the social network short videos was working on his Stories, although at first it was thought to be similar to Instagram, it was revealed that they will be totally different.
According to Matt Navarra this tool will be called TikTok Quick and they will appear in the main feed. Thus, the idea that a sidebar will be added to view these contents is ruled out.
– Creating a new story is now done via the ‘+’ button instead of via the side bar
– The new stories create mode is called ‘Quick’
– Multi-part stories are viewed in your FYP by tapping the video

The first reports indicate that users will be able to see the Stories from any user and not just from the people they follow.
With the arrival of TikTok Quick the platform will not change its dynamics and will continue to show users no matter if they don’t follow each other or if they don’t have mutual friends.
“TikTok is very focused and knows that this feature is fundamental to the platform. Without forgetting that it was one of the main reasons why it obtained great popularity since its inception”
For reference.

How will a story be uploaded on TikTok?
According to some means it will be very easy to use TikTok Quick, because people who want to upload a Storie will do it in a similar way to when uploading a video.
The only difference will be that there will be a new shortcut to share content that will be deleted after 24 hours.
These contents would appear with a blue tag, so users will be able to distinguish them from a normal video.

Currently there is no estimated date for the arrival of TikTok Quick, but everything seems to indicate that it is in its final stages of testing so it could be available this year.
