The Awards Oscar have recognized as ‘Best documentary short film’ to Colette, a documentary produced by Oculus Studios and Respawn Entertainment as part of the virtual reality video game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.
Colette is directed by Anthony Giacchino and Alice Doyard, and features the story of Colette Marin-Catherine, a 92-year-old woman who fought in the French resistance in World War II. Shows his back to germany for the first time since the war ended and to the prison camp where his brother died.
The documentary won the ‘Best Documentary Short Film’ award at the 93rd Academy Awards, a project born of the video game industry and that accompanied the title Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, virtual reality.
Oculus Studios (Facebook) and Respawn Entertainment (Electronic Arts) are the producers of this short film, which was subsequently acquired and distributed by The Guardian, as stated in The Verge.
