Actress Yulia Peresild and Russian director Klim Shipenko obtained authorization from a commission of doctors. And the go-ahead from astronaut Anton Shkaplerov to shoot the movie in space.

According to the Russian Cosmonaut Preparation Center, the actress and the director were considered fit to perform a space flight. So they will be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on October 5.

It should be noted that Anton Shkaplerov will accompany them on their journey, he will be the commander and the flight engineer. If something happens wrong, everyone has their replacements to continue with the recording of ‘The challenge‘.

In order to travel, Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko began their preparation in May to be able to make the trip to space. This is a cooler period than usual, both for tourists and astronauts.
