MADRID, April 29 (2021) –
TCL Communication has completed its second foray into the mobile phone market this April with the TCL 20 family, consisting of five devices into which it has introduced innovative technologies to meet customer demands, and flagship of the TCL 20 Pro 5G model.
Support for 5G networks are the signature of TCL 20 Pro 5G, a feature that it shares with its little brother (TCL 20 5G) and that sets it apart from the rest of the family, which has not yet adapted to the fifth generation of mobile connectivity.
Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G, designed to offer a robust connection, with WiFi 6 and support for 5G global networks, is at the heart of the TCL 20 Pro 5G, which takes advantage of its eight-core CPU (two Kyro A77 at 2.0GHz and six Kyro A55 at 1.7GHz) and the Adreno 619 GPU to improve performance.
It also improves the graphics of audiovisual content such as movies, series or video games, which it plays on the 6.67 inch curved screen, which offers support for HDR10, AMOLED panel and TCL’s NXTVISION 2.0 technology with Pixelworks technology to provide color accuracy. It also uses a artificial intelligence algorithm to recognize content and the scenes on screen and automatically adjusts color, contrast, and sharpness.
This combination of ‘hardware’ and innovation has earned it a screen rating of 89 in independent tests conducted by DXOMARK, placing the TCL 20 Pro 5G among the top mobile competitors, some of which cost more than double.
The back of the device welcomes the main chamber, with a configuration of four vertically placed lenses that peek directly into the housing, which leads the 48 megapixel IMX582 sensor (MP) from Sony, with Phase Detection Focus (PDAF) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), ensuring smooth, sharp images with high-resolution details. It is accompanied by a 16MP (123º) ultra-wide angle lens, a 5MP (83º) macro lens and a 2MP (85º) depth sensor.
This camera capture and play 4K resolution video at 30 frames per second (1080p at 60/30 fps) and enables slow motion recording in quality of 1080p at 120 fps or 720p at 240 fps. Is able to perform 2x lossless enlargements Y 10x digital zoom. It includes a night mode and a low-light shooting mode that improve image quality in dark scenes, and the ‘Backlight Selfie’ function eliminates blurry photos when the subject is backlit or in shadow.
On the front, the camera employs a 32MP lens that captures 4K 30fps video and features video modes with blur (bokeh) and HDR, slow-motion selfies, face beautification for photos, and portrait mode.
This ‘smartphone’ provides more than a full day of autonomy with its 4,500 mAh battery. It supports wireless charging up to 15W and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0’s 18W fast charging system, which allows you to charge to 50 percent of capacity in 35 minutes.
TCL 20 Pro 5G is now available on Amazon and Media Markt in two colors, navy blue and moon gray, from 549.99 euros, and with a single configuration of 6GB of RAM and internal capacity of 256GB, expandable by microSD card of up to 1TB.
