Each May 4th is celebrated on Star wars day, also know as May the 4th Be With You. This year, Disney + has decided to celebrate it with the first chapter of The Bad Batch (The Bad Remittance), a 70-minute special, plus an animated short by Maggie Simpson in space.

‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’
Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the new exclusive series on the Disney + streaming platform, which premiered on this Star Wars Day. The following chapters will be released every Friday, starting on May 7.
It is a 16-episode spin-off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, centered on a gang of mercenary clones and their illegal exploits in a galaxy far, far away.

In the first chapter Aftermath (The Result), we meet the members of Clone Force 99: Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Crosshair and Echo. They don’t like to follow orders so they decide to do what they think is the right thing to do. Along the way they meet Omega, a little girl who has never been into space, but who, because of her bravery, becomes a perfect piece for the team.
‘Waking up from the siesta’
Disney + also released an animated short of The Simpson to remember the story created by George Lucas. The three minute special is called ‘Waking up from the siesta’ and its protagonist is little Maggie, who is destined to live a dangerous adventure in space to fulfill a relentless mission: to find her pacifier.

The smallest of the Simpson family will be immersed in a «Kindergarten very, very far away … but within Springfield». Maggie will face the Sith, the rebels and androids to bring down the Dark Side in a legendary battle, while trying to recover her toy.
