Nivin Pauly’s latest movie starrer Mahaveeryar, which was released on theaters on Thursday, July 21, has opened to mixed reviews. The Abrid Shine-directed film garnered rave reviews from a group of viewers, while others had the opposite opinion. On the second day at the box office, Mahaveeryar saw another dip in its collections. Film experts suggest that the movie managed to earn a total gross collection of R. 1.5 billion at the Kerala box office in its first 2 days. Mahaveeryar reportedly made a total gross collection of around Rs. 1.7 billion in 2 days at the worldwide box office. Considering Nivin Pauly’s stellar box office record, it was indeed a disappointment.
