7 iOS 15 features
1.- More comfortable video calls
Video calls in FaceTime will have noise cancellation, mosaic view and will have portrait mode to blur the background “naturally”.
2.- Share videos
FaceTime adds SharePlay to share items during video calls such as music. It also allows two users to watch the same video at the same time or share it with Apple TV or external services.
3.- Shared recommendations
Apple has added shared recommendations to iMessages to remind you to read content sent to you by your friends, such as news, Apple Music playlists or image galleries.
4.- Grouped notifications
The Focus section displays AI-generated summaries of your notifications.
5.- ‘Do not disturb’ mode
With the new ‘do not disturb’ mode of the system you can choose which type of notifications to prioritize, depending on whether they are for work or personal life or entertainment.
6.- Identification of text in images
You can copy text through the camera or screenshots, select it and send it through other apps.
7.- Spotlight
You can search your photos directly from the main screen, even by the text that appears in them.
Is iOS 15 available now?
iOS 15 is now available in its beta version for developers. Apple will release the final version for all users next fall.
