How to unlock the Master Chief skin in Fortnite

As revealed during The Game Awards 2020, the Halo Master Chief has come to Fortnite, and you can unlock the character now. Master Chief joins Kratos as a console exclusive pet, though you can get his outfit and items on any platform. It’s absolutely wild to play as the iconic Xbox character on a PlayStation or Nintendo Switch.

Unlocking the character’s outfit works the same way it did with Kratos, although if you’re new to Fortnite or you haven’t played in a while, you may not be sure how to get it. In this quick guide, we will show you how to unlock the Master Chief and all of his items in Fortnite.

How to get the Master Chief skin

To unlock the Master Chief skin and items, you must purchase them with V-bucks, the in-game currency. Right when you start the game on December 11, 2020, you are likely to see ads for the character everywhere. As you can see in the image above, a timer is counting down, indicating the availability of the character. That means you only have today to get your hands on the Boss’s skin and items, so you’ll have to act fast.

Here, we’ll list all the packages you can buy, along with their V-buck prices. Note that you can earn V-bucks in the game by leveling up your battle pass or buying them for real money. One thousand V-bucks equals about $ 8 or so.

Master Chief Pack – 2,600 V-Bucks

  • Main boss – Attire
  • Battle legend – Back Bling
  • Gravity hammer – Harvest tool
  • UNSC Pelican – glider
  • Little wild boar – Emote

This pack has everything related to the Master Chief, from the outfit to an emote and glider. If you buy everything in a bundle, you will save a bit of money instead of buying the items individually. If you don’t have V-bucks left, you will have to spend around $ 20 to get this package.

Master Chief – 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Main boss – Attire
  • Battle legend – Back Bling

This is the least expensive option to get the Master Chief outfit. Comes with that and the Battle Legend Back Bling piece.

Gravity hammer – 800 V-bucks

  • Gravity hammer – Harvest tool

UNSC Pelican – 1200 V-Bucks

Lil ‘Warthog – 500 V-Coins

And those are all the options you have to buy Master Chief’s outfit and gear at Fortnite. Unfortunately, it seems that if you lose the purchase of the character on December 11, you may not have other opportunities to acquire it later. In the past, licensed characters were limited to one day of availability. Now that the iconic PlayStation and Xbox pets have been added to FortniteMany suspect that we will have a Nintendo character next week, maybe Mario or Link from Zelda.
