The battery It is one of the most frequently damaged components in a mobile device. As the load cycles of a piece of equipment wear, its useful life decreases.
To avoid this problem Samsung launched its technology to protect battery his mobiles. The system called Battery Protect promises to improve device autonomy.
This technology is already present in Galaxy tablets and limits the load to 85%, preventing it from reaching one hundred percent and degrading the battery.
With the One UI 3.1.1 update this battery protection reaches the phones Z Filp3 and Z Fold3.
Users will be able to activate and deactivate the function Battery Protect. To do this, they should only go to phone settings> Battery> More settings> Activate Battery Protection.

How to protect the battery of my smartphone?
Specialists have pointed out that to maintain the useful life of the battery it is recommended to maintain it with a load between 20% and 80%.
In this sense, it was revealed that charging any mobile device to 100 percent generates greater stress on the battery, which reduces its capacity.
ASUS highlighted that a cell phone with “500 charge cycles that always stops when it reaches 100% loses 15% of its battery capacity after this number of cycles, while stopping the charge at 80% only loses 7% of its capacity with the same number of cycles ”.
