Facebook launches its streaming music video service in Mexico

To compete with YouTube, Facebook will have a catalog of music videos that will be available on Android, iOS and the web

Facebook continues to expand its service to continue offering new features to its users. The platform launched its service ‘Music videos‘by streaming in Mexico. In this way it seeks to compete directly against Youtube.

The social network activated its ‘Music’ section in some users Facebook Watch, it is expected that soon all users will be able to have this function.

Adrián Harley, leader of Music Alliances for Facebook and Instagram in Latin America, highlighted that the platform you want to offer your users a new way of consuming music videos by giving them a more personalized experience.

Harley pointed out that music is an important part of Facebook, Instagram Stories, Reels, Live, Watch and IGTV, so it was to be expected that it would soon be included as part of their service.
