Android Auto Is Here In A New Version

Google is again rolling out a new update for Android Auto. Still, the expected news doesn’t come, which is why we are waiting for the upcoming app version.

A few days ago a new feature was revealed in Android Auto. Google has modified the media player view. The blurred background is applied for the entire screen, so even on larger displays. In addition, the progress bar is now much larger and much easier to use.

The new app version is 7.9 and was released for the weekend. It brings no clarity and innovation. You can’t find anything in the changelog, it hasn’t been updated. The major conversion called CoolWalk that isn’t automatically included is about to bring a completely new design to Android Auto.

Google said that a new design with new features is coming in the summer. However, you take your time with the rollout. I said just two months ago that I expect the implementation of Android Auto 8.0 to begin next August, probably in a beta version in a few days.

Version 7.9 may bring some bug fixes to bugs from the past few weeks.

Android Auto: The new version can be downloaded in two ways

You can get the latest version of Android Auto directly from the Google Play Store (applies to beta too) or very quickly via the so called Apkmirror.
