It was only a matter of time before the great algorithm in the sky brought the millennial pink and iPhone leaks together in capitalist marriage. On May 5, a Twitter account called Peng Phones created a frenzy when he tweeted a picture of a rose iPhone 13 Render Pro Max that seemed to have been dreamed of by the same people who brought us “aesthetic” iPhone home screens.
The phone, whose color is known as “Rose Pink” in the tweet, is surrounded by what appear to be other pink accessories from Apple: AirPods, AirPods Max, a iphone case. Peng Phones advanced a December 2021 release date for the color option, though subsequent tweets from the same account also mention the November 2021 releases for the “Pink,” “Rose Pink,” and even “Rosegold Pink” iPhones. .
The variation in color and release date would not be a total surprise. Apple iPhone 12 The release date schedule was almost as complicated as its pricing structure, with the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro arriving before the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Mini. And Apple’s Pro line, the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, come in different colors than the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini, also:
IPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max colors:
- Silver
- Graphite
- Gold
- Pacific Blue
IPhone 12 and 12 Mini colors:
- Black
- White
- Blue
- Green
- Red product
- Purple
The veracity of this rumor is quite difficult to confirm, as it was not originated or corroborated by notable leakers with strong backgrounds from Apple leaks, and it is certainly easy enough for anyone on Twitter to alter an image and call it a “leaked render.” . Much of the rotation on Twitter was skeptical:
What sick person edited a pink iPhone and made it go viral like Apple is actually selling it?

But still, many reactions on Twitter expressed hope (or at least a capitulation to capitalism that one could interpret as purchase intention): “Capitalism is bad but the pink iphone is so sexyOne person tweeted. Another who just tweeted “manifesting” between two candle emojis with an image not just of a pink iPhone 13, but of a Nintendo switch, also.
Apple hasn’t officially said anything about a release date or any color options for iPhone 13 (if that’s even as it is called), so now we can only speculate. But the odds of a pink iPhone 13 coming out in 2021? They are not terrible.
First, this wouldn’t be the first time Apple has released a pink iPhone. The Iphone 5c, released in 2013, it was available in pink. From 2018 iPhone XR came in coral, and the iPhone 6S from 2015 was sold in rose gold. Pink has been a popular color for tech ever since.. Just last February, Samsung also launched ghost pink and ghost violet models of its flagship Galaxy S21 phone, with a more metallic sheen than the iPhone 13.

And second, Apple just released a new purple color option for iPhone 12, another bone thrown at the ~ aesthetic ~ crowd. In fact, Apple also released a Redesigned iMac at a virtual event in April, available in a variety of throwback shades to match the company rainbow logo of yesteryear. One of those iMac colors is, you guessed it, pink.

Apple usually changes an iPhone color for another from generation to generation, leaving the rest consistent. So it’s possible that a caramel-colored pink pop could outshine the deep blue or mint green of the iPhone 12 (or even the brand new purple).
We won’t know for sure until Apple Announces iPhone 13 (Probably September). Until then, get on with everyone the juiciest iPhone 13 rumors here. And in the event that Apple not make our aesthetic dreams come true? You can always buy a rose phone case.
